Student Sport

At City of Glasgow College, we provide every student with the opportunity to take part or compete in both recreational and competitive sports.

Our core sports on offer consist of running, football, futsal, basketball, badminton and volleyball, some of which are recreational, others competitive.  We are one of the few colleges in Scotland to engage students in sport regardless of what faculty they reside in.  For more information about each of these sports please visit the Students Association website.

To sign up for a recreational or competitive sports club, please complete this form.  Recreational sport is due to commence w/c 12th of September.  Competitive sport is due to begin mid-September, with matches commencing at the end of September.  Students will need to trial prior to being considered for selection.

We are affiliated to British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) and Scottish Student Sport (SSS), the governing bodies that provide local and national tournaments, competitions and leagues.  We are proud to fund and support our student-athletes in various individual and team sports to represent the college at a national level.   For more information please visit the Scottish Student Sport website.
